Materials Needed:

Students purchase their required music books through the studio. Each student is expected to have his/her own spiral notebook for weekly assignments. This keeps parent, student, and teacher accountable for the material that is covered in every lesson. Students will also need a metronome for practicing at home. There are several free apps available for phones and other devices.

ABC’s of Student Expectations:

  1. Arrive on time – *not early, not late.
  2. Bring ALL needed materials to lesson.
  3. Continue to practice assigned material covered in lesson.

*Often, there is another student scheduled before each lesson. Please, be considerate and come in at your scheduled lesson time. Please, text if you are going to be late.

Missed Lessons Policy:

When there is prior knowledge that a student is going to miss a lesson, please contact the studio office as soon as possible. The teacher will be notified. Missed lessons are considered those missed due to sickness or emergency. During inclement weather or illness, lessons may be taken online through various platforms. Missed lessons may be rescheduled in person or online any time throughout the semester. In some cases, group makeup lessons are scheduled.
