Lauri Wood

PIANO, VOICE & FLUTE

Lauri Wood received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Music Education with proficiencies in piano, voice, and flute from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. She has over 35 years’ private teaching experience. She has also recorded 3 piano CDs and published 5 piano books, 2 string solo books, and numerous instrumental solos, string ensembles, and piano duos. She currently teaches in her home studio in Martinsville, Indiana with her daughter Carly.

Carly Fitzgerald

PIANO & PRESCHOOL PRODIGIES

Carly (Wood) Fitzgerald began piano lessons from her mother, Lauri, at age 3. At the age of 10, she entered her first piano competition and placed first in her age division. Over the next 9 years, she entered various piano competitions and placed every year. After receiving an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development from Bob Jones University, she returned to Indiana and taught both private and group piano at Ogden Music Studio, Lifeline Christian Fine Arts Academy, and Woodridge Music Studio. 

Joy Anna Wall

VIOLIN

Joy Anna began playing the violin at age ten, and has completed her Grade 9 certificate with the Royal Conservatory of  Music in Canada. She has taught violin for over ten years, and especially enjoys coaching chamber groups. Joy Anna believes that making music with others is one of the best ways to have fun!

Isaac Mock

CELLO

Isaac Mock began taking cello lessons at age 7 through the IU String Academy. He was classically trained using the Suzuki method and uses that same training with his students as well.

Although Isaac graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and now works in the engineering field, playing cello has always been a passion of his.

He has played in multiple string ensembles for church and community events. 

Lucy Annable

BANJO, MANDOLIN & UKELE

Lucy began playing piano at the age of four and started banjo lessons at age eight. She has performed at many events, competitions, and religious ceremonies.  

Lucy has given private lessons for five years and has mixed with many musicians of varied musical genres, including country, Irish, bluegrass, and classical.

She enjoys playing on several stringed instruments and loves making music a part of her daily life, often playing with her many siblings.

Tim James

PIANO & VOICE

Tim taught choral music in Indiana public schools for 37 years. During his tenure, he worked with numerous choral ensembles and vocal soloists, earning state honors. A baritone, he received a Bachelor of Music Education from Indiana University and a Master of Science from the University of Illinois. As a performer and music educator, he has had the privilege of training under Marko Rothmuller, Robert Shaw, Weston Noble, Leonard Bernstein, and Leon Thurmond. Mr. James is currently the founder and sole proprietor of James Music Academy (JMAC Studio) and maintains an active schedule giving private voice and piano lessons and serving as a choral ensemble consultant throughout Indiana. He is endorsed by the ISSMA for his expertise as a judge for soloists, small and large choral ensembles, and sight-reading.

 

 Kaylee

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Kaylee previously worked as a CNA at The Springs in Mooresville and brings a strong background in organization and client care. 

She is married and has three children, ages 11. 8, and 7. 

In addition to her administrative experience, she is the owner of Rustic Wanderlust Photography and is an accomplished photographer, published in multiple magazines.


Melissa Scott

WEB ADMINISTRATOR

Melissa has a background in in website administration and design, desktop publishing, and content creation. She is a wife and homeschool mom. Besides being a wife and mother, she loves music, writing, and speaking about The Lord and His Word, and being the shopkeeper of a small lake shop she co-owns with her husband, Jeff. The Scott family has been with Woodridge Music Academy in some capacity since close to its beginning. They are enjoying a season now with only two high school sons left at home, nine grown daughters, several of whom are married, and 11 adorable grandchildren, so far!
